„The Voice of my Ghost” to pierwszy singiel z debiutanckiego albumu studyjnego MALEFIC THRONE „The Conquering Darkness”, który ukazał się 28 listopada nakładem Agonia Records.
Zespół tworzą gitarzysta Gene Palubicki (Angelcorpse, Perdition Temple), wokalista i basista Steve Tucker (Morbid Angel) oraz perkusista John Longstreth (Origin, Hate Eternal, ex-Angelcorpse).
Płyta „The Conquering Darkness” została nagrana, zmiksowana i zmasterowana w Menegroth The Thousand Caves (Gorguts, Origin, Atheist) z udziałem Colina Marstona.
Perkusista John Longstreth ostrzega, że jest to ekstremalnie brutalny i piekielny, nuklearny death metal. Okładkę namalował znany artysta Daniele Valeriani (Dark Funeral, Mayhem). Logo zespołu zaprojektował Christophe Szpajdel (Emperor, Moonspell).
